	The BEAR BAND has been playing music for Barn Dances and Ceilidhs for the best part of the last 30 years. The Band has gone through many changes of personnel over the years but is still led by founding members, Huw Jones on Melodeon and John Howes on Bouzouki; together with Steve Passmore on Bass, Lyndon Whife on Drums and Nigel Haworth as their Caller they complete the present line up.
	The Band plays a broad range of traditional dances from Britain, America and Europe including the infamous, energetic and not to be missed - ‘Bear Dance’ from Belgium ! The Caller will explain the steps and guide even the most inexperienced through the dances. All we ask is for you to bring bags of energy to create a memorable event that all ages will enjoy. Should your legs begin to fail, we can sing some songs or play music until you recover!
